Step 3: Review and Reset Global Port Parameters

The RA 6300 ships with a set of default global port parameters already
stored in non-volatile RAM. Review the defaults to determine which ones
you need to change to satisfy your configuration requirements for SLIP,
security, etc.

The remainder of this section provides the following information:

•

A list of the default settings for the Serial Networking and SLIP
global port parameter groups.

•

Instructions for changing a global port parameter setting.

•

Instructions for using the set pri b command to associate IP
addresses with RA 6300 PRI B channels.

To view the entire set of default global port parameters use na or
admin to issue the show port all command.
