FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
INTRODUCTION
BE1-67N circuit functions are illustrated in the function block diagram of Figure 3-1 and described in the
following paragraphs.

CURRENT SENSING
Internal current sensing transformers receive inputs from the 5 Aac (sensing input range 1 or 2) or 1 Aac
(sensing input range 3 or 4) nominal secondary of standard transformers. Input transformers for the
sensed measured current (I

) are tapped so that the relay range is determined by its external
connections. External connections are listed in Table 3-1.
