Operation
a) Setup and connection
• Place the fan heater on a stable, level surface. It must be placed at least 1.0 m away from
walls or other objects to ensure sufficient air circulation. Flammable objects (e.g. curtains)
must be at least 1.5 m away.
•
The fan heater is designed to be placed on horizontal surfaces such as floors. It is not suitable
for wall mounting. Ensure that the fan heater is level and secure, otherwise the safety switch
may be triggered by accident.
• Use the handle to carry or transport the fan heater.
• Move the fan speed switch (2) to 0.
• Insert the mains plug into a mains socket.
b) Setting the temperature
• Use the thermostat control (1) to set the temperature. Turn the thermostat control clockwise.
You will hear a click sound when you reach the current ambient temperature.
• Keep turning the thermostat control until you reach the desired temperature.
• Once the preset temperature has been reached, the heater will turn on and off automatically.
c) Changing the fan speed
• Move the fan speed switch (2) to I or II.
0 = Off
I = Low
II = High
d) LED indicator
• The colour LED indicator (3) turns on when the heating coil and fan are switched on.
e) Tip-over protection
• The tip-over safety switch on the bottom of the fan heater automatically cuts off the power
supply if the heater tips over.
• If the heater is switched on when it tips over, the colour LED indicator will turn off.
• If the heater tips over, turn it off and return it to its original position before turning it back on.
f) Overheat protection
• The heater comes with overheat protection that automatically switches off the heater if it
overheats (e.g. if the air outlet is covered). If the overheat protection feature is triggered,
follow the steps below:
- Disconnect the heater from the power supply.
- Remove the object that is covering the device.
- Wait for 30 minutes until the heater has cooled down to room temperature.
- Turn on the heater as described above.
If the heater fails to turn on, contact customer services or a technician.
Care and cleaning
• Before cleaning the fan heater, check that it is disconnected from the mains and ensure that
it has cooled down to room temperature.
• Do not clean the fan heater with water, as this may cause an electric shock. Do not immerse
the fan heater in water!
• Use a damp, lint-free cloth to clean the exterior casing. If the heater gets wet, leave it to dry
out completely before using it again.
• Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust that accumulates on the air outlet.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could
damage the casing or cause the product to malfunction.
