Always read this information carefully.

This symbol indicates special information and advice on how to use the product.

Important safety information

•

Never operate the product in cupboards or other small enclosed spaces.

This constitutes a fire hazard!

•

Do not place the fan heater directly underneath a wall socket.

•

Do not use the product with a timer, remote switch (e.g. remote-controlled

switch socket) or other devices that automatically switch on the product.

This may cause a fire if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.

•

Never leave the product unattended during use.

•

To reduce the risk of a fire, always leave a space of at least 1.0 m from

combustible  or  flammable  materials  or  objects  (e.g.  curtains,  doors  and

furniture).

•

Never cover the product! Do not touch the openings on the heater or insert

objects in the openings, as this may damage the interior components and

cause a fire or electric shock.

•

Do not use the product next to a bathtub, shower or swimming pool.

•

Do not allow children to play with the heater.

•

The air outlet gets hot very quickly and has the potential to cause skin

burns. Exercise caution when handling the product.

•

Children aged 3 – 8 may only turn the heater on and off when it is positioned

correctly and they have been told about potential hazards and how to use

the heater safely. Children in this age group must not connect, install or

service the heater.

•

This appliance may be used by children over 8 years of age and people

with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities provided that they

have been given supervision or instruction concerning the safe use of the

appliance and understand the potential hazards.

•

Never place the product on an unstable or moving surface. When positioning

the heater, ensure that it cannot tilt or topple over. This may cause a fire or

injury or damage the interior components. A safety switch is built into the

base of the heater that automatically turns the heater off when it tips over.

However, the hot surface still presents a fire hazard.

•

Exercise particular caution when children or vulnerable people are present.

•

Children may only clean or repair the product under the supervision of an

adult.

•

WARNING – Do not cover the heater when it is switched on (e.g. with a

curtain or blanket), otherwise it may overheat.

the mains plug from the mains socket. Discontinue use and take the product to a

specialist repair centre.

•  Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into

a warm one. Condensation may form and destroy the interior components. The
