This constitutes a fire hazard!
•
Do not place the fan heater directly underneath a wall socket.

b) Electrical safety
•
Never pour any liquids over electrical devices or place objects filled with liquid next
to the product. If liquid or an object does enter the interior of the device, power
down the respective socket (e.g. switch off circuit breaker), and then disconnect
the mains plug from the mains socket. Discontinue use and take the product to a
specialist repair centre.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into
a warm one. Condensation may form and destroy the interior components. The
power adapter may also cause a fatal electric shock. Allow the product to reach
room temperature before connecting it to an appliance. This may take several
hours.
• The mains socket must be located near to the device and be easily accessible.
• Never unplug the mains plug by pulling on the cable; always use the grips on the
plug.
• Remove the mains plug from the mains socket after use.
• For safety reasons, unplug the mains plug from the mains socket during
thunderstorms.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges
or subjected to mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains
cable from extreme heat or cold. Do not modify the mains cable, as this may
damage the interior components. A damaged mains cable can cause a fatal
electric shock.
• Before connecting the product to the mains, check that your local A/C mains
voltage matches the specifications on the nameplate.
• Only power the charger using a standard mains socket (230 V/AC, 50 Hz)
connected to the public grid.
• Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged. Power down the respective mains
socket (e.g. via the circuit breaker), and then carefully pull the mains plug from the

• Do not place any objects on the mains cable or allow it to become kinked.
• Place the mains cable away from open spaces where it will not present a trip

under a carpet or cover the mains cable with rugs, runners or other materials.
• Do not use extension cables, ballasts or timer switches. Always insert the mains
plug directly into a wall socket.
• Never use the fan heater without the protective grille. Do not insert objects into
the grille.

attempt to insert objects into the heater, which could cause a fatal electric shock.
There is also the risk of a fire or injury due to the hot surfaces.
