Opening the top cover of the OmniBus A12
Before opening the case, shut down the TransForm A system then disconnect all power
plugs! Remove all cables!
The boards of TransForm A contain CMOS components. Do not touch the components, they
could be destroyed!
Loosen the housing screws [1] and [2] shown in
on both sides of the case. For
these screws as well as for the screws inside of the O

A12 you need a size 2 Phillips screwdriver. Some
screws inside the O

A12 can be loosen with a 5.5 spanner as well.

Now you can easily remove the top cover.
If you have removed the top cover of the OmniBus A12 in order to add boards, be sure to
replace the cover before powering up again!
Inside the housing there is an elastic hold-down [5] which is combined with an air baffle [6], which must be
removed to be able to insert expansion cards. Loosen the fixation screws [1] and [2] at the air baffle and the
screws [3] and [4] at the elastic hold-down and remove the sheet, please refer to the figure below.
