Adjustment of language settings under Windows XP

With Windows XP the language for the user interfaces can be changed. The following instruction guides through
the procedure.

Installation of an additional language

Insert the suitable CD

MS Windows XP Professional – Multilingual User Interface

(4 CDs with the various lan-

guages) into the CD-ROM drive. A dialog comes up which guides you through the installation.

Close all other applications, select

Accept the License Agreement

and click

Continue

In the next dialog keep English selected and in addition select the intended language. From the

Default user

settings

list select also the intended language.

After clicking

, the language files get installed. Confirm the completed multilingual installation with

and

reboot the computer by clicking
