Audio, video and USB connections are made from the PC to the NGS-D320.
The
video
content
fl
ows from the PC/server to the NGS-D320, the NGS-D320 encodes the video, and
then the video is streamed onto the IP network.
The
audio
content can be bi-directional, audio can be sent to, or received from, the NGS-D320.
The
USB peripheral port
of the NGS-D320 connects to an USB host port on the PC/server. The NGS-
D320 emulates an USB HID device, and events are sent from the NGS-D320 to the PC/server.
Decoder
The device is typically connected to one or two screens. Next to the screens, the device can also be
connected to a headset/speaker/microphone, a keyboard and a mouse.

The
video
interfaces are connected to the screen(s).
The
audio
interfaces are connected to a headset or speakers, and a microphone can be connected to the
NGS-D320.
The
keyboard and mouse
connect to the USB host interfaces of the NGS-D320.
Local
This mode is a combination of the encoder & decoder mode.
The device is typically connected locally at a desktop position. The device sits between the PC/server
and the screens, headset/speaker/microphone, keyboard and mouse. The video, audio & USB cables
connect from both ends to the NGS-D320 device.
These inputs are locally looped through the device.
The NGS-D320 device plugs into the network and is capable of streaming & receiving network traf
