The taught surface must be inside of the defined sensing range. When the teach mode is set to FGS, some portion of the
window must be located within the sensing range. When the teach mode is set to BGS, the offset value must be within the
defined sensing range. If an offset value falls outside of the sensing range, a message displays. See the applicable TEACH
procedure for more information.
3.2.12 Display View
Use this menu to select the display view. The default is right-reading.

—Right-reading and the display enters sleep mode after 60 seconds

When the sensor is in sleep mode, the display wakes with the first button press.
3.2.13 Units
Use this menu to set the displayed units to centimeters (cm) or inches (").
•
—centimeter (with a decimal point at < 60 centimeters)
•
—inch (with a decimal point at < 24 inches)
3.2.14 Output Type Polarity
Use this menu to select the output polarity.
•
(Default)—Push-Pull IO-Link on pin 4 and solid state PNP on pin 2
•
—Solid state PNP on pins 2 and 4
•
—Solid state NPN on pins 2 and 4
3.2.15 Exit Setup Mode
Navigate to
and press SELECT to exit Setup mode and return to Run mode.
3.2.16 Reset to Factory Defaults
Use this menu to restore the sensor to the factory default settings.
Select
to return to the sensor menu without restoring the defaults. Select
to apply the factory defaults and
return to Run mode.
