AIR REGULATION ON THE COMBUSTION HEAD
As the
maximum required output
is achieved, adjust the position
of the device that closes the air on the combustion head, moving it
forward or backward to obtain a flow of air suitable for the output,
with the air regulation damper intake considerably open.
The combustion head has a regulation device that allows the air
passage between the disc and the combustion head to be ope-
ned or closed. Closing the passage, you can obtain high pressure
upstream of the disc even at low flow rate. The high speed and
turbulence of the air provides for its greater penetration into the
fuel and therefore an excellent mixture and flame stability. High
air pressure upstream of the disc may be necessary to prevent
flame fluctuations, this is particularly essential when the burner
works on the combustion chamber that is pressurised and/or at a
high thermal load.
CAUTION / WARNING
Check that ignition takes place regularly, moving the diffu-
ser control and fastening knob gradually until you reach a
position in which ignition occurs regularly. For the first sta
-
ge, limit the quantity of air to that which is strictly necessary
for safe ignition, even in the most difficult circumstances.
IONIZATION CURRENT
The maximum ionisation current value required for a correct ope-
ration of the equipment is indicated in the wiring diagram.
The burner provides a significantly higher current and therefore
does not normally require any checks at all.
Should however, the ionisation current need to be measured, a mi-
croammeter must be connected in series to the ionisation electro-
de lead by opening the connector as illustrated in the figure.
