b. Detach water hose fittings from solenoid
c. Remove two electrical wires
d. Using needle-nose pliers carefully remove the plastic screen
e. Clean with water and a needle pushing from the back side of the
holes. Wash all debris off and hold to a water hose on the back
side of the screen and force water backwards through the screen
to insure that all holes are clear.
15. Confirm that all small ice maker parts are clean.
16. Reassemble ice plate assembly by placing the
waterguides
to the top of
the ice plate.
17. Put
flowtubes
back in place.
18. Reconnect smaller lower black hoses first then the larger upper tubes.
19. Reaching through the middle of the Ice Drop Hole, locate and remove
the
plasticdrainplug
.
Becarefulnottodropintothestoragebin�
(Ifdrainplugfallsintothebin,
operateafewtestvendstoforceitthroughtheicechute)�
20. Drain reservoir. Let the water in the
reservoir
drain into the bin and out
of the system.
21. Turn ice maker
ControlSwitch
to the
WASH
position.
22. Using your
Elongatedcleaningbrushes&Scaleremover
thoroughly scrub the
inside of your ice storage bin.
23. Connect a Food Grade water hose to the
freshwaterdispenservalve
and
completely rinse the scale remover solution from the ice maker and
the inside the
icestoragebin
for a minimum of 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse
the inside of the bin by inserting the hose through center of the ice
maker.
24. Turn ice maker
ControlSwitch
to the
OFF
position.
25. Screw the
plasticdrainplug
back into the ice maker.
26. Replace the side and top plastic and Styrofoam cover.
27. Turn ice maker
ControlSwitch
to the
ICE
position and allow the ice maker
to make a batch of ice.
28. After first batch of ice is made, use the
testvendswitch
to vend ice into a bag and inspect the ice for any
residue.
29. If there is no residue on the ice, place covers back on the ice maker and reverse directions. on
accessing your ice maker.
