Boil Water Notice
I
t is the machine owner’s responsibility to follow their state and local laws and guidelines in
the event a Boil Water Notice order is issued.
In the event that a local government or water authority issues an
emergency boil water order:
1. Turn Power OFF immediately to prevent use.
2. Empty Ice from the ice storage bin and dispose of to prevent use.
3. Disconnect ice vending machine from water source.
4. Purge remaining water inside ice maker and vending machine.
If using a private well, determine if the well has been covered by flood water. If well has been flooded, contact
local Health Department or Environmental Health Agency for information on well disinfection.
Once water has been deemed safe by your local government or water
authority
1. Replace all water filters.
2. Refer to this manuals cleaning and sanitizing of Ice Maker, Storage Bin, Ice Shoot and all
surface and internal parts that touch ice and water
3. Connect vending machine back to water source and begin start up procedures.
