Chapter 7: Soft Keys 47
Assignable Knob
In some applications, the Jog Wheel can control knobs and sliders. Some applications require clicking on the control while others
allow the cursor to hover over it.
To assign the Jog Wheel to an Assignable Know:

Select MC Control’s
Surface
from the
Section
pop-up. The Soft Keys window opens.

Find a a blank Soft Key and double-click it. The Soft Key Command Editor opens.

Select MC Control’s
Jog
from the
Wheel
pop-up menu. Make sure to select MC Control’s
Jog
(bottom) and not MC Transport’s
(top). Icons beside their labels make this clear.

Select
Assignable Knob
from the Function pop-up menu.

Close the Soft Key Command Editor.

Press the Jog Soft Key to use the Assignable Knob function with the Jog Wheel.
