Mounting the bonding unit
[57] ALS with bonding unit (A).
The bonding unit [57A] is an accessory for ALS 30x
labellers, which are operated with two lateral un-
winders. It is mounted to the top of the machine chassis
between the two unwinders. The purpose of the
bonding unit is to shorten the time for loading and
feeding label stock by making the unwinder change ea-
sier.
Article numbers:
– Bonding unit for ALS 306: A9768
– Bonding unit for ALS 309: A9994
For detailed information on how to use the bonding unit,
read the user manual, chapter “Splice unit application”
on page 48.
Mounting:

Screw the bonding plate [54A] to the mounting plate
[54B] by using 2 screws M8 [54C].
– Screws: 2x DIN EN ISO 4762 M8x25 A2
– RH machines: use the left side pair of holes [54]
– LH machines: use the right hand pair of holes [55]

Screw the complete bonding unit to the flange [56B]
at the ALS 30x top side, using 4 screws M10 [56A].
– Screws: 4x DIN EN ISO 4762 M10x25 A2
