Speaker Placement: Floor Speakers
The positioning of the speakers is important because it controls the whole sound quality of this system.
Place the speakers depending upon the style of your listening. The model below shows the traditional
setup of 5.1-channel surround sound speakers.
This speaker package employs a 5 speaker configuration. 1 center speaker, 2 front speakers, and 2 surround
speakers. The front speakers are used for the main source of sound. The surround speakers are used for the
surround sounds and the center speaker is used for center sounds (ie. dialogue).
When placing the front speakers, distance them equally on both sides of the television/screen. The
surround speakers should be placed behind your designated listening location. These speakers should also
be facing inward about 6 feet from the floor.
Place the center speaker directly between the 2 front speakers. Make sure the position of the center
speaker has equal space on each side to each of the front speakers.
