15. District Heating System Connection

The regulation of the heating-up temperature via the remote heating circuit is done electrically and the
setting is fixed in the factory. An additionally installed temperature limiting device prevents overly high
back-flow temperatures. Changes to the settings may only be carried out following consultation with
the manufacturer.
Due to the high permissible pressure differential in the primary heating circuit it is not necessary to
regulate this pressure for the district heat storage tanks, however it must not exceed 1.2 bar. In order
to avoid malfunctions and the ingress of foreign bodies a dirt trap should be installed in the direction of
flow in the district heating supply pipe.
In all cases the connection of the district heat stor-
age tank should
be before the first radiator.
