Service and Maintenance

Update and Provisioning

Firmware may be distributed. The telephone that distributes the firmware

is at this moment used as update server.

Procedure in Case of Firware Update Problems

If you have carried out a firmware update, and the firmware proves to be
faulty, you can upload another firmware in the telephone.

Proceed as follows:

Using the telephone

Requirements:

Firmware file (*.rom) saved on the hard disk

Notes:

You will find the firmware file on the Internet (see

www.auerswald.de

To get information about the firmware version that is currently saved in
the telephone, select

> Settings > System >About phone

or, in the

Configuration Manager, click the Auerswald logo with the left-hand
mouse button.

To upload another firmware in the telephone, proceed as follows:

1. Remove the telephone from the power supply, by detaching the PoE

cable.
