Permissions
You can protect the telephone against unauthorised use by configuring
permissions for making settings and using functions.
The telephone can be accessed on three authorisation levels:
• Administrator:
The function is only available to administrators.
• Sub-administrator:
The function is available to sub-administrators and
administrators
• User/None:
No lock, the function is available to users, sub-administ-
rators and administrators.
Important:
The permission settings are only accessible if you are
logged in as administrator. If no sub-administrator or administrator is
configured on the telephone, users can make all settings and use all
functions.
When the telephone is operated on the PBX, the passwords for adminis-
trator and sub-administrator are preset by the PBX. Manual settings will
be overwritten by the PBX.
