9.2 Handset and base station settings
9.2.1 Switching the key tone on or off
Each time a button is pressed on the handset, an acoustic signal is issued as a form
of confirmation (key tone). This short acoustic signal can be switched on or off.
1. Press the Menu button

menu.
3. Confirm by pressing the

button.
4. Press the

and

buttons to select the
KEY TONE
menu.
5. Confirm by pressing the

button.
6. Press the

buttons to switch the key tone on and off. Confirm by
pressing the
F
button.
7. Press the
C
button to exit from the menu.
9.2.2 Switching the display backlighting on and off
The display is equipped with a backlight feature which lights up the display during
operation. This backlight can be switched on or off.
