  The product's IMEI can be checked.

 Proximity sensor/Light sensor

  Proximity sensor prevents misoperation of the touch panel during a 

call.

  Light sensor adjusts the brightness of display according to the 

ambient light level.

 Earpiece (receiver)/speaker

  Hear the other party's voice during a call or play back answering 

memos, etc. through this.

  In addition, hear ringtones and alarm sounds.

 In camera lens

 Charging lamp

  Illuminates in red or green while charging depending on the battery

  Turn the display on/off.

  Press and hold for power on/off or restart.

 External connection jack

  Connect the common AC adapter 05 (sold separately), microUSB 

cable 01 (sold separately), USB cable for peripherals (commercially 

available), etc.

  When the common AC adapter 05 (sold separately), microUSB 

cable 01 (sold separately), etc. is connected, its magnetism may 

affect the product's geomagnetic sensor, causing some applications 

to malfunction. In such cases, remove the connected device.

 Mouthpiece (microphone)

  Talk to the other party through this during a call. Also use while 

recording videos or when talking to emopa.

 

The back cover of the product is not removable. Do not try to 

remove it; doing so might cause damage or a fault.

 

The battery is built into the product and not user removable. To 

force the power off, refer to "Forcing the Power Off" (

P. 15).

Note that forcibly pulling or applying excessive force to the au 

Nano IC Card 04/microSD memory card cover may damage it.

IMEI Tray

 

The IMEI (international mobile station equipment identity) is a 

unique number to identify cell phones. The product's IMEI can be 

checked by sliding out the IMEI tray.

 

The IMEI is required for repairs, after-sales services, etc.

 

The IMEI tray cannot be removed from the main unit. Handle it 

carefully so as not to apply excessive force.

 

You can also check the IMEI by navigating through the menu.

Display (Touch Panel)

 

When you attach a compatible flip cover (commercially available) 

to the product, you can turn the display on/off by opening/closing 

the flip cover. The display may not turn off if the flip cover is 

misaligned.

Proximity Sensor/Light Sensor, Earpiece (Receiver)/Speaker, 

Mouthpiece (Microphone), Sub Microphone and Air Vent

 

The earpiece is also a speaker. After you turn the speakerphone 

on/off or end calls, the volume increases gradually to prevent loud 

sound from coming out of the speaker near your ear.

 

Do not place a sticker, etc. on the proximity sensor/light sensor. 

Doing so might cause the sensor to malfunction.

 

Covering the earpiece (receiver)/speaker, mouthpiece 

(microphone), sub microphone, or air vent with a sticker, your 

finger, etc. may hinder the performance of the product.

Antennas are built into the product. Do not cover the antenna 

areas with your hand during calls or data communication. Doing 

so may affect the call/communication quality.
