4.0 GPS – Viewing / Activating GPS Data
Pressing the
“SHIFT”
key followed by pressing the “
GPS
” key allows you to view the GPS data as the data are
collected and it allows you to turn the GPS functionality on or off.
Note: The GPS functionality uses a lot of power. Make sure to turn off the GPS when you are not using it in order to
extend your battery life.
The
and the
keys are used to turn GPS on or off.
The coordinates are displayed as Degrees –
Decimal Minutes.

The GPS locations saved in memory are stored as Decimal Degrees, or
converted to UTM (NAD83) when using the ATSWinRec software.

(non flashing) – The GPS is on, and there is a valid GPS fix.

OFF
– The GPS is turned OFF.

FIX
– The GPS is attempting to acquire a valid GPS fix.

ERR
– The GPS has not been able to get a valid GPS fix within 5 minutes.

GPS
– The GPS has not been able to get a valid GPS fix after 15 minutes, or there is no signal out of the
GPS, or the GPS is turned OFF.
5.0 ONE - Selecting a single ID for Audio
Note: Used only in Manual and Aerial Hold modes.
Pressing the
“SHIFT”
key followed by pressing the “
ONE
” key allows you to hear only the coded tag you are
interested in.
This will cause the receiver to filter from the audio all detected coded IDs except the one you’ve just
selected.
