7 .3 Water logic
The operation of the heat pump is controlled by the
water logic.
The reference temperature of the heating circuit water
is adjusted in function of the outdoor temperature.

The water logic is set manually by the installer
(Parameters 720 and 721).
If there are thermostatic valves fitted to the installation,
they must be opened fully or set higher than the normal
value of the ambient temperature.

7 .3 .1 Setting
During the installation, the water logic must be set in
function of the heating transmitters and the insulation
of the building.
The water logic curves (
figure 56 ) refer to an ambient
setpoint of 20 °C.
The water logic slope (parameter 720) determines
the impact of variations in outdoor temperature on the
variations in heating start temperature.
The higher the slope the less the reduction in outdoor
temperature will create a significant increase in the
heating circuit water start temperature.
The shift in water logic (parameter 721) modifies the
start temperature of all the curves, without modifying
the slope ( figure 57 ) .
The corrective actions if discomfort is experienced are
listed in the table ( figure 58 ).
