10 .3 Servicing the evacuation pipe
The suction pipe (or the chimney) must be checked and
cleaned regularly by a specialist (once a year).
- Check that the suction pipe is not obstructed.
- Check that the condensate evacuation is not blocked.
Remove the siphon and rinse it in clean water.
Warning: The condensates are acid:
Wear acid-resistance gloves and goggles during
maintenance
10 .4 Servicing the tank
The tank must be serviced once a year (the frequency
may vary according to the hardness of the water).
10 .4 .1 Draining the hot water tank
- Remove the front panel of the heat pump.
- Close the cold water inlet on the hot water tank.
- Open a hot water tap and open the hot water tank
drainage valve ( item 1 ).
10 .4 .2 Descaling
- Drain the hot water tank.
- Disconnect the ACI and remove the inspection hatch
( item 2 ).
- Descale the exchanger to preserve its performances.
- Remove any scale deposits that may have accumulated
in the tank. It is preferable to leave the scale that has
clung to the sides of the tank: it forms a protective
layer.
- Carefully remove any scale deposits on the pocket.
Do not use any metal objects or chemical or abrasive
products.
• Change the inspection hatch gasket after each tank
inspection.

Do not forget to reconnect the ACI .
10 .5 Checking the outdoor unit
- Remove any dust from the exchanger making sure
you do not damage the blades.
- Correct the wings using a comb.
- Check that there is nothing hindering the air flow.

Check that the condensate evacuation is not blocked.
• Checking the refrigerating circuit:
When the refrigerating fluid is heavier than 2 kg, you
must have the refrigerating circuit checked every year
by a company that meets current legal requirements.
- Check that there are no leaks (connectors, valves,
etc.).
10 .6 Checking the electrical circuit
- Check the connections and retighten if necessary.
- Check the condition of the cabling and plates.
- ACI light: In normal operation, the light flashes ( item

).
