Set Serial Port
To configure the VM0808T’s serial settings, select Set Serial Port from the
Menu.
The sub-menu provides four options: Serial Port Address; Baud Rate; Serial
Port Mode; and Default Serial Settings, as follows:
Serial Port Address
To set the VM0808T’s serial port address, do the following:
1. Select Serial Port Address from the Set Serial Port submenu. The cursor
flashes on the first number:
2. Use the Up / Down navigation pushbuttons to select each number.
3. Use the Left / Right navigation pushbuttons to move the cursor forwards /
backwards.
4. Press ENTER to confirm the serial port address.
Note:
The default serial port address is 0.
Baud Rate
To set the VM0808T’s baud rate, do the following:
1. Select Baud Rate from the Set Serial Port submenu. The cursor flashes on
the first number:
