Local Operation
Overview
The VM0808T can be configured and operated locally via the front panel
pushbuttons, or remotely over a standard TCP/IP connection via a Browser
graphical user interface (GUI). Local front panel operation is discussed in this
chapter. Over-IP (and Telnet) operation is discussed in Chapter 4,

Front Panel Operation
The VM0808T features front panel pushbuttons and an LCD display panel for
convenient configuration and operation at the local site. This allows you to
perform operations such as selecting which source displays on which display,
configuring the IP port and serial port, adjusting audio and video levels, and
setting security information.
Basic Navigation
Please note the following operation conventions:
Use the MENU pushbutton to cycle through the Main Menu options.
Use the AUDIO pushbutton to go directly to the independent audio page.
Use the ESC pushbutton to go back a level, return to the Main page, or
exit.
Use the ENTER pushbutton to select options and confirm operations.
Use the Up / Down navigation pushbuttons to cycle forwards or
backwards through numbered options.
Use the Up / Down / Left / Right navigation pushbuttons to position the
cursor on options for selection.
