Directory

Directory operation

Searching by name

Follow the steps to search for directory entries by name.

Follow the steps in

Reviewing directory entries

on page 36 to enter the

directory.
When in the directory, press the dialing keys to start a name search. The
directory shows the first name beginning with the first letter on the dialing
key (if there is one).
To see other names starting with the letters on the same dialing key, keep
pressing the key. The names appear in alphabetical order.
For example, if you have the names

Jennifer

Jessie

,

Kevin

and

Linda

in

your directory:

once, you see

If you press

twice, you see

Editing directory entries

Follow the steps to modify the directory entries.

Display the desired entry in the directory (see

on page 36).
