①Prism 

Corrosion  resistant  optical  glass,  with  a  polished 
surface to reflect light. 

②Prism stage 

Connected  to  the  sample  inlet  and  fastened  by  a 
clamp band. 

③Radiator 

Disperses  heat  when  measuring  high  temperature 
samples  to  prevent  the  electric  circuit  from 
overheating. 

④Mounting screw locations 

Used to mount the CM-800α to the stand.

Comprised of the operation keys and display
