HOW TO SWITCH OFF THE SENTINEL SYSTEM (fig. 2)
• Command the deadbolts TOTAL re-entrance through the key or
the knob on the inside of the door.
As a confirmation that the system has been disabled you will hear a
“beep” .
COURTESY LIGHT
When the door is opened through the key, the courtesy light on the
lock side (fig.1) turns on for about 5 seconds to make it easier for
you to turn the house lights on in case you come back home at
night.
EXHAUSTED BATTERY SIGNAL
The exhausted battery status causes a lack of “beep” both when
you enable or disable the system and it also causes the lack of
courtesy light .
HOW TO REPLACE BATTERIES (fig. 3)
1. Remove the closing cap of the battery-holders located on the
door lock side at 20 cm from the bottom, unscrewing them 90°
anti-clockwise, with a screwdriver or a coin.
2. Replace the 6 alkaline batteries with similar kinds, respecting the
polarity, as shown in fig. 2.
3. Put the caps back to the original closing position.

HOW TO SILENCE THE SEN.T.IN.EL SYSTEM IN CASE
OF ALARM
• Command the deadbolts TOTAL re-entrance through the key or
through the knob on the inside of the door.
As a confirmation that the system has been disabled you will hear a
“beep” .
WHICH PROTECTION GENERATED THE ALARM?
The SEN.T.IN.EL system allows to visualize the origin of the latest
alarm by counting the number of the courtesy light blinking
(repeated continuously for about 2 minutes) and by referring to the
following chart:

To start the visualization, do the operations shown in fig. 1 and 2
within 1 second.
