Opening the housing
Removing the upper part of the housing
1 Switch off the electrical power.
2 Remove the transparent plastic cover (Fig. 3–
1
).
3 Remove the EMERGENCY OPEN sticker (–

).
4 Loosen the screws (–

).
5 Carefully remove the upper part of the housing (–
4
).

The ribbon cable connecting the circuit boards in the upper and lower
housing parts may need to be disconnected.
6 Hold the ribbon cable by the plug and remove the plug.
