8.7 POWER MODULE SWITCH
In the event of a suspected Power Module failure,
examine the LED at the upper left corner of each
Power Module. With SHORE POWER in the ON
state, the LEDs should all be lit. If any Power
Module’s LED is not lit, turn OFF the adjacent
switch (down for OFF) which will disable that Power
Module. The converter can then be used at a
reduced power level (66% load for two Power
Modules, and 33% for one Power Module) until such
time as a replacement module is available. If
the bottom Power Module switch must be turned OFF, please contact an authorized service center
or the factory.
8.8 POWER MODULE FUSES
If a Power Module failure has occurred, it is possible
that one or more of Fuses F11-16 may now be open.
These fuses are located behind the input and output
connection panel on the upper right side.
ACCESS TO AND TESTING OF THESE FUSES MUST BE PERFORMED BY A
QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN AS LETHAL VOLTAGES ARE PRESENT BEHIND THE
ACCESS COVER(S).
These fuses are rated 50A, 700V. Please contact the factory for replacement of these
semiconductor protection fuses. F11 and F14 feed the lower module, F12 and F15 the middle,
and F13 and F16 the top.
