Initial Setup
After installing the 5200 Series Power Manager you must set these parameters:
S
password (required to change any setting)
S
type of electric system (3Ø or 1Ø, 3 or 4 Wire, Wye or Delta)
S
source to be monitored (normal, emergency, load, other)
S
potential transformer (PT) and current transformer (CT) ratios
S
communication parameters (if connected to a PC
)
S
clear energy parameters (resets base energy level to zero)
S
watt demand window size
S
nominal settings (KW, volts, amps, frequency)
S
setpoint parameters
S
date and time
If the Power Manager Xp is preinstalled on the ATS, initial setup has already
been done. You should set your password and clear the energy settings,
however. Then go to
Operating the Power Manager
on page 4–1.
