MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
A.
REGULAR CHECKS
As described in the guideline and in the
pre-flight check list
, the general condition of the system has
to be tested before each flight.
Carefully check the tightness of all screws regularly – especially the landing feet that must hold the
motor rails properly into position and the nuts that hold the propellers tight to the motors. Make sure
to tighten the screws on the central unit only finger tight.
B.
SERIAL NUMBER / ID
A serial number (ID) explicitly identifies each AscTec Falcon 8.
In case of troubles oder questions regarding your flight system you should have that ID prepared, so
that we can help you effectively by having all relevant system information related.
You find the ID of your AscTec Falcon 8 on the
backside oft he flight system above the battery
slot. It consist of
5 figures.
Separated by a „-“ you further find a hexa-code
of
4 characters.

CHANGING PROPELLERS
Please check all propellers visually for any damage like scratches, cracks or dents (whitey colour
change of the propeller surface caused by abnormal bending) before flight. If a blade shows any
defect it should be replaced before the next flight.
