1)
Bend the antenna and secure it with the Velcro strap.
2)
Place the ELT 4000S inside the bracket. Close swing arm and close the pin.
3)
Re-install the ELT with the bracket in the Aircraft.
4)
Verify that the toggle switch is placed in the “ARM” position.

Inspection and Test Documentation

1)
Make an appropriate entry in the aircraft maintenance records (i.e. logbook), including
the date the ELT inspection and testing was satisfactorily completed.
2)
For aircraft operating under Canadian authority, following satisfactory completion of
performance testing, the date on which the test was performed shall be marked on the
ELT external casing in a legible and permanent manner.
