3.3 DDR4 Memory
The SharpStreamer Pro card comes with four DDR4 SODIMM channels, two on each E3-1578L
v5 / E3-1585L v5 processor. Each DIMM is populated with 8 GB of memory. That means, each
processor has an 16 GB DDR4 memory (8 GB on each channel) running at DDR4-2133 speed,
resulting a total 32 GB of memory on each SharpStreamer Pro card.
3.4 SSD Memory
The PCIE-7211-2 card comes with two on-board SSD memory interfaces, one for each
processor. Each SSD memory supports up to 128 GB.
3.5 Ethernet Controllers
3.5.1 Interprocessor Interface
Both CPUs are connected using Intel 82599 dual port Ethernet controllers. These PCIe Gen2 x8
devices provide two 10 GB/s Ethernet channels to allow for interprocessor communication.
3.5.2 Backplane Interface
The gigabit Ethernet Interface (PCIE port2) of each PCH is connected to the second edge
connector through an I210 interface.
Each DDR4 SODIMM channel is expandable up to 16 GB.
PCIE-7210-2(EOL) and PCIE-7210-2-3GHz(EOL) variants do not have SSD memory.
PCIE-7210-2(EOL) and PCIE-7210-2-3GHz(EOL) variants do not have this interface.
