Hardware Description

The SharpStreamer Pro card is designed for the Artesyn MaxCore platform. The MaxCore is a 
platform with PCIe card slots for designing a highly scalable rack-mount appliance. MaxCore 
has the ability to implement many network connected servers within the same enclosure. The 
card has been designed to integrate into today’s industry leading platforms.

The SharpStreamer Pro is an Intel Xeon (codename Skylake-H) based PCI Express card for 
MaxCore server-based installations in a video broadcasting and data server environment.

The card provides two independent Intel Xeon (codename Skylake-H) CPU complexes. Each 
CPU complex is connected to the MaxCore fabric using a 3rd Generation PCI Express x8 (64 
Gbps) connection through the PCIe standard card edge. A second MaxCore-specific card edge 
is used to provide power and additional I/O connections.
