The PV Power Control Box is an accessory that allows remote control
over limiting the output power from the inverter, reactive power
generation and the feeding or standby status. It is a requirement of
grid regulations in some countries. For more information, refer to the
accessory manual.
It is necessary to use an RS485 XPV2RBC2A model slot board,
setting it to 2-wire communication, following the instructions in the
accessory manual and the last bus board must be actively
terminated.
Referring to the PV Power Control Box manual and the RS485 board,
connect the inverter bus to the “serial 2” port as shown in the table on
the right. The monitoring device (PC or other) must be connected to
the RS232 “Serial 1” port of the PV Power Control Box. “Serial 2 pin” on the

The inverter has two separate internal archives: one for instantaneous measurements and one for energy production.
The inverter has a memory capacity of 1021 samples for the measurements. Sampling frequency can be selected using the
software in the range of 5 minutes (average annual capacity of 7 days of data) to 60 minutes (average annual capacity of 84 days
of data).
The storage capacity of the energy produced is 730 samples per day, corresponding to a period of 2 years.
The inverter is calibrated at the factory to ensure a low level of error in reading the output power and, consequently, the total
energy produced, but it is not a measuring instrument. It is therefore normal to find inconsistencies between the inverter reading
and the grid operator meter readings.
The inverter automatically overwrites less recent data when the memory is full.
