Castors
The Carino is equipped with four lockable castors. Press down
the brake pedal with your foot to brake (A) and press it forward
to release the brake (B) . To get the full effect apply brakes on
all four castors. (See Fig. 1)
Safety Belt
Secure the resident with the safety belt if needed. The safety
belt will secure the resident in the chair. Fasten at the knobs on
either side of the back rest and adjust the length on the buckle.
Make sure the safety belt is attached at all times to avoid it from
laying on the floor causing someone to trip over it. Make sure
the safety belt is close to the residents body.

Arm Rest
During the disinfection, the arm rest can be folded up and down
for easier disinfection underneath the arm rest.
Hand Control
The hand control has an integrated hook, making it easier to
attach it to various parts of the chair.
A set of buttons marked with arrows pointing upwards or
downwards controls the raising and lowering of the chair.

Seat
The seat has a comfortable design and can be folded up for
cleaning and disinfecting. The seat is fixed in its normal
position by a snap-in attachment on the front edge of the seat.
For optimal ergonomics during cleaning and disinfecting, fold
the seat up with the
Carino in a comfortable height. (See Fig. 4)
WARNING
To avoid resident falling out of the device, make
sure that the arm rest are folded down during
transfer.
