After the Shower
Drying and Dressing
A. Independent Residents (8 Steps)
1 Apply the brakes.
2 Dry all parts of the resident within reach with a towel. Don’t
forget the back of the legs.
(See Fig. 1-2)
3 Dress the lower part of the body, as far as possible.
(See Fig. 3)
4 Fold away the leg rests and apply the foot supports.
(See Fig. 4)
5 Lower the chair.
6 Dress the upper part of the resident’s body. (See Fig. 5)
7 Fold away the foot supports and let the resident stand up on
the floor while drying the backside.
(See Fig. 6)
8 Finish dressing the lower part of the body.
