Getting the Resident Seated
Independent Resident
Follow these 10 steps from a standing position or
using a walker to Carino.
1 Fold away the leg rests and push aside the foot supports.
(See Fig. 1)
2 Apply the brakes. (See Fig. 2)
3 Adjust the height of the Carino so that the edge of the seat
touches the back of the resident's knees. (See Fig. 3)
4 Let the resident hold on to the arm rest so that he or she can
lean on it.

5 Undress the lower part of the resident. (See Fig. 4)

WARNING
To avoid falling, make sure the floor is free from
obstacles and that the foot rests are folded away
before getting in or out of the equipment.
