Periodic maintenance
6. Periodic maintenance
For one-shift workload ARISTO recommends an annual maintenance for
the ARISTOMAT, performed by ARISTO service personnel or factory ap-
pointed service centres. Multiple shift workload shortens the service in-
terval.
CAUTION: The following cleaning procedures are to be performed,
under observation of all safety instructions, by trained operators/
personnel only. All other maintenance activities must be performed
by factory service. Turn the main power off prior to working on the
machine.
Please note:
• do not use sharp and rough objects, scouring powder, aggressive
cleaner or solvent
•
do not let coolant or lubricant to guides and toothed racks
•
in the air maintenance unit use 5 micron filters only
• observe statute and rules for waste disposal
• for the conveyor the cleaning interval depends on the processed
materials. When working with fabrics, daily vacuuming may be neces-
sary.
Cleaning interval for single- shift workload
Daily
ARISTOMAT machine outside clean and lubricate the guide rails with
an oily rag (use very light oil, i.e. 3 in
One). Remove deposits with WD40.
Maintenance unit compressed air bleed
Tool / tool head brush of all material deposits
Weekly
Vacuum table wipe the table top with a rag soaked with
denatured spirit –
do not use soap suds
Dust collector placed at the bridge between guide rail and dust collector
clean the material dirt with a brush
Conveyor vacuum the Conveyor belt
