Navigating the Genius X2
Genius X2 Main Menu screen
Some of these menus will enter sub-menus for further configuration.
Icon
Description
Call Records
A log of dialed or received calls. These numbers can be called back (via
your preferred calling way if more than one is possible), saved to contacts
or speed dials from this menu.
Contact
Both SIM card and Phone contacts are displayed. As a contact, work, home,
and extension (SIP) numbers can be entered.
Wi-Fi
Connect to a Wi-Fi network to enable internet connectivity via an existing
NBN service. This can be used to enable SIP account connectivity and
firmware upgrades.
Voice Message
For SIP accounts. The provider may contain information as to voice mailbox
message access. Voice mailbox can be set up and entered via this menu.
SMS
SMS messages can be sent and received. Requires SIM card and
compatible network.
About
Phone, SIM and network information can be obtained via this menu.
Account
Up to 2 SIP accounts can be entered, to connect the phone to a PBX or a
hosted landline number so that phone calls can be made and received over
the internet. A VoIP provider is necessary, as is the NBN, or SIM card with
data (VoLTE, also known as Wi-Fi Calling). Technical assistance may be
required to apply SIP settings.
Settings
Phone Specific settings. DND, Auto Answer, Auto SIP registration, Software
upgrade over Wi-Fi & Memory key settings are configured.
