* If specifically required by your ISP, you may need to enter DNS

To enable static IP addressing:
Step 1.
Click the radio button next to
Specify an IP Address
.
Step 2.
Enter the
IP Address
and
Subnet Mask
(for your PC).
Step 3.
Click the
Gateway
tab.
Step 4.
Type in your
Gateway IP Address
(the IP address for the
NetDSL) from your ISP and click
Add
.
Step 5.
Click the
DNS
Configuration
tab. Enter the
Host
and
Domain
names,
and
DNS Service Search
Order
(for your LAN) and
click
Add
.
Step 6.
Click
OK
to exit
TCP/IP
Properties
window.
Step 7.
Click
OK
to exit
Network
.
Step 8.
If prompted to restart
Windows 95OSR2/98/Me,
click
Yes
. If you are not
prompted to restart Windows
95OSR2/98/Me, please do
so manually. Proceed to the
next section titled
“
CONFIGURING YOUR ROUTER
.”
