Checking the parking brake
Check parking brake before every ride as follows:
1. Activate parking brake (refer to section 4.9).
2. Check if the vehicle can be moved.

Checking the brake lever lock
Check the brake lever lock before every ride as follows:
1. Activate and lock the hand brake (refer to section 4.8).
2. Check if the vehicle can be moved.
7.6
Checking protective rubber sleeves for perfect condition
Check all protective rubber sleeves at ball joints, tie rods and drive axles once a week
as follows:
– Presence
– Wear
– Cracks
– Perforation
NOTE
The parking brake must lock the wheels. If the vehicle can be moved, have
the brakes repaired at an authorised Arctic Cat specialist repair shop.
NOTE
The hand brake must lock the wheels. If the vehicle can be moved, have the
brakes repaired at an authorised Arctic Cat specialist repair shop.
NOTE
If defects are detected, have an authorised Arctic Cat specialist repair shop
replace the corresponding protective rubber sleeve.
