RMC
Factory settings:
To restore the factory settings follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the power cord
2. Wait a few seconds
3. Press and hold navigation button
“Left”
4. Reconnect the power cord
5. Release navigation button
“Left”
when
“Factory setting”
is shown on the display.
6. Press navigation button
“Up”
and hold for a
few seconds, the factory settings will be
restored. Press the navigation button
“Down”
to abort the operation
.
Network installation:
The RMC connects to the Network by Ethernet and a standard patch cable. In case the front
interface is used, it requires a crossed patch cable. In this case, it is necessary to set an IP
address and Subnet mask on the PC used for configuration.
The IP address on the RMC is set by using the navigation buttons on the device itself. Use
the button
“Down”
and scroll to
“Change IP address”,
then button
“Right”
to select the
first group of numbers and change the value with the buttons
“Up”
and
“Down”.
The RMC
will store the settings automatically and changes back to the main display. The same and
further functions are available on a PC when connected.
When a PC is connected
the RMC received the IP Address 192.168.0.101. After
entering the IP address in the web browser the RMC asks for username and
password:
The factory setting is:
Username
= rmc
Password
= rmc
If the login is successful the main page of
the graphic user Interface appears.
