Settings
The monitoring functions of the RMC can be configured
via the menu “Settings”
Return to the main menu by pressing the "Back ".
Alarm & Status channels:
The 8 alarm channels can be freely assigned by mouse click. When
delivered from the factory channel 1 is already configured for
temperature monitoring.
Signal source
The monitoring function of the inputs can be set per signal source or input signal. e.g. "Temp
1 too high" alarm is triggered when the temperature exceeds the set limit.
Function
Controls whether the channel should act as alarm or status indicator. When an alarm is
raised, the channel indicator lamp starts flashing red. A memory function keeps the indicator
lamp flashing even if the alarm condition no longer remains. This makes it possible to
observe intermittent error conditions. If
"Alarm auto ack" is selected, the channel is
automatically reset when the alarm condition returns to normal. "Alarm ack. + Trap " also
sends an SNMP message.
Local Alarm
Selects what local action should be taken when an alarm occurs. Options are "Beeper",
"Alarm relay" (output relay for horn) or “Beeper and relay" .
Type of contact
Selects whether the digital input is “normally open”
or “normally closed”.
Output action on Alarm
Select between “no action”, “Open Door”, (the
door lock is released) “output off" (the potential-free
outputs are disconnected. In case a smoke detection
is in the rack, any active fan can be turned off or
“Door and outputs” .
Alarm text
Defines the text presented on the event list, in Email
text message and SNMP traps. This text is freely
selectable
