3.4 Paper Jam Elimination
Paper jam could result from improper operation such as attempt to pull out the paper
during printing, crooked paper loading or skew paper printing, also rough or sticky
thermal paper could result in paper jam.
In case paper jam occurs during operation, when
1.The
LED is not flashing :
Press the bar to open the cover
( fig. 1)
, clean and remove the jammed paper then
reposition the paper roll (see “2.6 Loading the Paper Roll” on page
10
).
2.The
LED is slow flashing :
In this case the cover will remain closed even when the bar is pressed,
A.
Power off the printer.
B.
Remove the cutter cover by sliding it backwards
(Fig. 2)

C.
Rotate the gear wheel on the auto cutter module for some rounds
(Fig. 3)
.
D.
Restart the printer. The
LED will go off.
E.
Push the bar to open the upper cover.
F.
Clean and remove the jammed paper then reposition the paper roll.

NOTE:
Be careful not to touch the manual cutter when removing the cover.
If the compartment cover does not open after pressing the Open
bar, the cutter blade is not in its normal position. Roll the gear wheel
forwards or backwards to position the cutter blade back.
DO NOT forcibly open the compartment cover.
