5.5. Electric Wiring
5.5.1. Power Supply of the Boiler
The boiler shall be properly wired to an efficient ground -
ing system, complying with existing regulations.
Single-phase 230 Vac supply with neutral. Do not re-
verse neutral and phase As a safety precaution, when
phase and neutral wires are reversed, flame control
device locks the unit (F11 lock).
The unit can be plugged into mains using a plug-socket
only if the latter prevents any mix up of phase and
neutral wires.
The system wire gauge in general, and cable section
in particular, must suit the unit rated input (see techni-
cal data table).
Keep cables away from heat sources.
REMARK: A multipole cutout switch must be installed
before the boiler with suitable electric protection.
Diameter of cables : Phase, neutral and ground: 1.0 mm²
5.5.2. Wiring Room Thermostat to Remote Control C09660
The boiler must be connected to a
room thermostat. We recommend
installing at least C09660 remote
control to allow the user to reset the
unit remotely.
Wire room thermostat to terminals
ID2/IDC2 of the boiler board. If
C09660 remote control is used,
the diagram in this page should be
followed.
Contacts of thermostat, switch and
lamp are low voltage.
Thermostat contact should be not
powered.
If a lamp is installed to signal locks,
it should use 24 Vdc voltage with
max absorption < 25 mA.
