Electrical Wiring

Room Thermostat Wiring
It is mandatory to install a room thermostat or a timer to turn
the burner off without powering off the unit.
No spare jumper
supplied with the heater.
Connect the thermostat to terminals No. 34 and 35 of the
board on the electronic card installed into the control panel
housing of RAPID heater (it replaces the jumper, see diagram
in this page).
If the burner can be turned off by multiple switches, they must
be wired in series.
A remote button can be installed and wired to terminals No.
29 and 30 of the board [WARNING: current is 230V].
The type of the button must be Normally Open.

Power Supply
The heater shall be properly wired to an efficient grounding
system, complying with existing regulations.
Single-phase 230 Vac supply with neutral. Do not mistake
neutral and phase wires If phase and neutral wires are
exchanged, the unit will automatically lock.
The heater can be plugged into mains using a plug-socket
only if the latter prevents any mistake between phase and
neutral wires.
The system wire gauge in general, and cable section in parti-
cular, must suit the unit rated input (see technical data table).
Keep cables far from heat sources.
REMARK: A multipole cut-out switch must be installed
before the heater with suitable electric protection.
The section of supply cables must be at least 1.5 mm²
The unit shall be plugged into the mains using the plug sup-
plied. Always unplug the unit during maintenance operations.

Summer Ventilation
You can enable only the fans (summer ventilation while the
burner is off) in the following ways:
1) Turn the switch on the heater on
" =SUMMER". In this way, the fans can be turned on or
off by rotating the switch or by powering off the appliance (this
latter is not allowed in Winter mode).
2) Use remote control - see G12800 and G00094 accessories
3) Remotely control the CN3 connector command through
terminals No. 34,35, and 36 as indicated in the wiring diagram
for G12800 accessory [see diagram in the following page].
When the summer ventilation command is remotely controlled,
the switch on the heater shall be turned on " =WINTER".
