NOTE: Heater outputs are automatically disabled when the controller is in tunnel mode.
Brooder Heater: How it Works
The controller can use a relay or it can use its second 0-10V output to control a brooder heater.
Operating temperature
To operate the brooder heater, the controller refers to the average reading of the temperature probes
assigned to the output. In addition, the operating temperatures of the brooder heater can either be defined
as absolute values or they can be related to the set point, which means they are automatically adjusted
when the set point changes.
Brooder high fire
With the Brooder High Fire option, the controller controls the brooder output in two different ways, just as
if there were two brooder outputs (regular output and Hi-Fire output). The regular brooder output and the
Hi-Fire output each uses its particular relay assignment and Start/Stop temperatures.
Closing the Curtains when Brooder Heater is On
The controller can automatically close the tunnel curtain when the stage heaters or the brooder heater is
on. Enable the "Interlock" option to activate this function.

The controller can adjust the start temperature of the brooder over time with a curve.
Brooder Curve: How it Works
The controller can adjust the start temperature of the brooder heater over time with a curve. A curve is
made of 10 points. Each point specifies a day number and start temperature of the brooder heater for that
day (the day number refers to the animal age). When the curve is activated, the controller changes the
start temperature of the brooder heater every hour in a linear fashion between consecutive points of the
