Chapter 6: Relay Assignment

NOTE:

Each fan stage is independent. Items turned on in previous stages are not automatically
turned on and need to be selected again for each fan in each desired stage.

3. Choose the mode of the Variable output status:

Option

Description

Variable (Var)

The variable fan output is assigned to the fan stage and operates in variable
mode: when the stage starts, the variable fan starts running at its minimum inten-
sity. The fan intensity gradually increases as the room temperature increases.

On

The variable fan output is assigned to the fan stage and operates in on/off mode:
the fan runs at 100% when the fan stage is on and stops when the stage is off.

Off

The variable output is not assigned.

NOTE:

If the last fan stage uses a variable output, the output must use the on/off operating mode.
Do not set the operating mode of the last fan stage to the variable mode.

4. Either put a checkmark to assign a relay to an output or select

Timer

if the load connected to the

relay must run in timer mode.

NOTE:

If timer-based relays are assigned to fan stages, set the

On Time

and the

Off Time

of the

timer.

Assigning Tunnel Curtain Relays

Relays 7-8 and relays 13-14 are designed to connect actuators. When actuators are connected to these
relays, their open and close relays can never be activated at the same time.

1. Using the menu select arrow keys, navigate to

Relay Settings→Tunnel→Tunnel Open or Tunnel

Close

.

NOTE:

This menu is only accessible if the tunnel curtain is enabled.

2. Put a checkmark beneath the relay used to open or close the tunnel curtain.

Assigning Inlet Relays

Relays 7-8 and relays 13-14 are designed to connect actuators. When actuators are connected to these
relays, their open and close relays can never be activated at the same time.

1. Using the menu select arrow keys, navigate to

Relay settings→Inlets→Inlet Open or Inlet Close

.

NOTE:

This menu is accessible if the inlet is enabled.

2. Put a checkmark beneath the relay used to open or close the air inlet.

Assigning Stir Fan Relays

1. Using the menu select arrow keys, navigate to

Relay Settings→Stir Fan

.

NOTE:

This menu is accessible if the stir fan output is enabled.

2. Put a checkmark beneath the relay used by the stir fan.
