Chapter 9: Ventilation and Cooling

the minimum ventilation speed every hour in a linear fashion between consecutive points of the curve.
When the last point is reached, the controller keeps using the speed associated to that day.

The following restrictions apply to reduce the risk of error:

• The highest possible day number is 450.

• Decreasing day numbers are not allowed.

• All ten points must be entered. If you don’t need all ten steps, repeat the last temperature for each

unnecessary points.

NOTE:

The minimum ventilation curve must be turned off to adjust the points and days of the mini-
mum ventilation curve.

Setting the Minimum Ventilation Curve

1. Using the menu select arrow keys, navigate to

Minimum Ventilation / Curve→Variable 1 or Varia-

ble 2→Minimum Curve

.

2. Press the down arrow key to select the first point of the curve.

3. Set the following parameters:

Day

Set the day at which each step starts. The day
number refers to the animal age. *This parameter
can only be modified while the curve is disabled.

Speed

Assign a fan speed to each step of the curve. *This
parameter can only be modified while the curve is
disabled.

Status

Once all 10 curve points are defined, press the
down-arrow key to select the curve status at the
bottom of the screen and then select

Yes

to enable

the curve. Once it is on, the controller automatically
adjusts the minimum ventilation fan speed between
consecutive points of the curve.

Adjusting the Day and Night Minimum Ventilation

1. Using the menu select arrow keys, navigate to

User→Day / Night

.

2. Set the following parameters:

Night Min. Vent

Select

Yes

to use different minimum ventilation set-

tings at night.

Min V1–2

Select the minimum ventilation night speed of each
variable fan (in %).

Setting the Minimum Ventilation Fan Timer

1. Using the menu select arrow keys, navigate to
